Synopsis for “Mad, Mistreated, Messed-up MAN”

This stage play is about three brothers raised in the same home by the same mother (Mother Cross) but traveling down three different pathways of life. Jamal, the former college student, is MAD at the world, because now he has a prison record. Rev. Thomas Cross, the preacher, is trying to save the world, but is being MISTREATED by church folks. Davion, the entrepreneur is MESSED-UP, because he thinks he is God's gift to the world. The love of money has all but destroyed his relationship with God and his family. As this story unfolds, watch as Mother Cross shows her sons that WITH GOD, the world can't do you no harm. This inspirational, dramatic and heartfelt gospel stage play depicts what happens when jealousy, greedy and deceit creeps into mind and hearts of the people you love. Three brothers will have to bear their own cross while crossing the thin line between family and the bond they have as brothers.
